IELTS Writing band descriptors

ello Everyone.


I am wondering if someone knows for sure what means these:

Band 8: produces rare errors in spelling and/or word formation

Band 7: may produce occasional errors in word choice, spelling and/or word formation

Band 6: makes some errors in spelling and/or word formation, but they do not impede communication


How many exactly these: rare, occasional and some?

Since it is a testing system it has to be structured somehow so teacher, who is checking the work/test has to know how many errors fit for which band. From the other hand it might be also just estimated rate of presented languagfe by the student. I'm not familiar with the system myself.
