Dreams and nightmares: What is your worst nightmare?
It's 2 am in the Philippines right now.. Why on earth am I writing a discussion topic at 2 am?
Well, as you know I am a storyteller. I put my thoughts into writing at the height of my well, good or bad emotions. I am rather an emotional storyteller. 😂
I had a dream, it was an awful dream. There was a man in my dream that kept asking me about my receipt. He told me that I did not pay my Internet bill. I kept telling him that I did.
" I am sorry Sir, I am trying to find my receipt, I am sure that I paid my bill". I told him these words politely while rummaging a pile of folders.
I was sweating profusely in my dream.
I went through several brown folders and to my dismay I could not find it. The man in my dream seems to be determined to cut my Internet once I can't give the confirmation number. This dream is also funny because when bills are paid, it's automatically registered in the computer system.

Then I woke up and checked the time. It's 2 am Philippine time.. Wow! I haven't had a nightmare in a while but this was really bad. 😬😁 The Internet is as important as food for me. 😝

@Som Bhatta I like that you always have a scientific explanation of things.. 😁 Females are afflicted of this so called overthinking attitude. It can be good and bad. Hopefully, it does me more good than bad.

I know that you can't, Florian. The tendency to worry is at least part genetic and no one can beat heredity. The other part is that the worry gene affects females far more than males, just as baldness and hemophilia affect males rather than females. What you do is therefore the best in your case.

Florian K,

phew, good thing it was just a nightmare. I hate nightmares... My worst nightmare was being trapped alive inside a coffin.

@Aud Now your dream is the literal definition of a nightmare. I hope it never happens.

I had repetitive nightmares about a nuclear war, when I was a little child. As if it began, and then either the earth was splitting in half, or a nuclear winter was coming, or it just was the end of the world and everyone was dying including me. Only once we managed to be rescued in a space ship with some people. We were looking in the illuminator watching the earth blowing up.

I remember I was squeezing out of fear when some car was driving outside loudly, because I thought it was a missile.
