Do you stick with one teacher or do you have multiple?
When taking lessons on iTalki, do you prefer to have only one teacher throughout your whole language learning journey or do you like having multiple teachers for the same language.

Personally, I prefer to have more than one. Each teacher teaches differently and it helps implementing what I learned from one teacher to another teacher's lesson. For example, one teacher I will have for grammar and vocabulary and then one or two for speaking and listening comprehension.

I’m just beginning my journey with Italki, and I’m at the very beginning of learning my target language. How do you evaluate who is best for which skill? Do you have them all teach you the same area and then determine from there? For example, I was thinking to evaluate different teachers by having them help me with the alphabet and pronunciation and seeing which one is best at it. And then once we get into other aspects (like beginning grammar, etc), having them teach me something similar in that aspect and evaluating from there. Or do you just have each teacher teach you the same thing to see what you can learn from each one?

I preter to have multiple teachers as well. Besides having diffferent styles, there are certain teachers that excel at different skills. I'm learning Vietnamese and some teachers are really great conversationalists so I enjoy just talking with them and doing speaking practice. Other teachers are very good at helping with pronunciation. I have another teacher who is very good at selecting news articles that I can read along with.
