Bamboo@ I don,t do any special progress in German. I revise from time to time, I watch TV, I have 4 or 5 books written in German, which I like and I would like to put into practice. These books inspire me, but sometimes I just don,t have to see them. I,m in process of learning, I didn,t quit with German, same as with English. What you Bamboo? Tell me about your progress, tell me about your routines of lerning German and English.

Specially, what gives you a power to continue in learning? What do you eat, read, exercise to grow in both languages? What are you savoring the most on learning of languages? Which meals make us stronger, our mind more vivid, our interests always alive? How to improve our memory trough eating habits?

Of course! It means you are very healthy. Why a fiddle should be fit, that I do not know. Perhaps the fi-fi rime introduced this expression. There are more idioms. I am sick as a dog, for example. But dogs are not that often sick either. In the Netherlands we say we are as healthy as a fish. I guess that idiom was introduced before the pollution of the waters by industry in th 19th century. Some fish are really sick!
