I recommend my students to record themselves using their mobile phone (or other tools). They can record themselves answering questions, reading from an article or having a conversation. They can do this on their own or with a speaking partner and it helps them to get used to their own voice speaking English. This helps to remove the strangeness of hearing themselves speaking and should improve their self-confidence.
