Some airlines and restaurants seem to only hire attractive people. Is this discrimination? Should it be legal?

I think it's perfectly legal. But I think that the point is, does this kind of practices are moraly fair? I mean, of course, if you dress like a looser (don't get me wrong I am not taking about expensive clothes), your smell is bad, your aspect is like a drunk clohard, believe me if I were an employer I'd never hire a person like that. On the other site you are totally right many companies hire people because of their "beautifulness" and this sucks. Those kind of companies are faded to fail and they desereve it because concentrating only on the superficial level they are missing to enrich their companies with human capital.

And if you are stupid, of course, anybody doesn't want you to hire even if you have a diploma and you are attractive because they need knowledge! Is this discrimination!? Everybody must have his/her own!

If the job doesn't require you mind so you must be exectly beautiful. That's the rule! But if the job require your mind it doesn't matter What your appearance is!

I think physically attractive people should do the jobs that involve face to face contact with the customers, and the aesthetically challenged people should do the jobs where they aren't as likely to be seen by the customer.  This way, everybody can be satisfied.  :)
