It depends on what type of freedom.
However speaking generally you can be the richest person in the world but still be miserable and feel trapped or lonely. You can be a poor person and be extremely unhappy. More often than not money cannot buy freedom, I believe freedom comes from inner peace and love.

Actually money is the cause of wars :) . Most of the wars are based on acquiring money/black gold/materialistic things and covered by different other reasons : religious , ethical ...
The leaders of the world are not politicians, they are big corporations/bankers/big mooney who finance the politicians political campaigns and rule while hiding behind them to push policies that will protect them and their interests.

Freedom is attainable by a deep understanding of one's essence, IMHO we are more than just cells, and a body.. from that perspective, I believe that the work should be done on the soul/consciousness whatever you name it.
Freedom is a result of accepting differences related to : color,race,religion,soccer team,rock band, or even a traditional dish haha , and accepting that we will disagree. The key factor is try never to be angry, and don't react like beasts do.

i believe money=happiness.
believe or not in reality money is everything. this whole world is after money.

when we are young we believe in love and hope and all but as we become wiser we can understand that everything is useless without money, and yes, i think money can buy freedom. 

It is very interesting discussion. Beside currency history to bank try to steal our saving money behind decimal points. Can you think buy a meal that count to 0.000001-0.00000009? Bank would do that because the money run around the world to them that may be 123456789X0.0000001.

But what is our way to spend money?

There are blurred zone we do not think about.

But some of them who use it inappropriately.

I can not say I will not do something wrong. So I prefer to have some of people do the sam job and different ways let employee choose.

I think business students thinking you the human is the concept of worker in their eyes

But you are not you are a person. So I think the thinking way of education lack of humen care.

Many cases happened, There are many reasons make what we see that may be the same words finally you argue.."they have to".....etc

Some of people have to go the core through those above.
