The importance of being an independent language learner

I think it is one of the biggest challenges to be overcome when you decide to study a language is live it entirely.

I know a lot of people who have decided to register at some English course with intention to be fluent or because they need for their jobs. They spend money for years illuded that they will be fluent someday doing only what the course gives for them. It's a big mistake. No matter how good is this motivation, if this person doesn't practice by himself, with others materials and specially live the language, he won't reach significant results. I feel it based on my experience. For years I've been trying to study English, and I've spent money on courses that was good in the beginning, but as the time goes on, I've realized that it was not enough. I wasn't doing it right. It was necessary to find out others ways to complete the practice and improve myself.

I've created a goal: Study english everyday. It's not being easy so far. But I can feel the results gradually, as I progress, read, speak, and make small steps. Reviewing again and again.

What is the reason of that? Because if I want to talk to the world, then I have to talk the language of the world. Simple like that.

(this text is a simple exercise, I'm not totally fluent, so I thank you if you find some mistake, make some observation or take part in this discussion).

Be well.
