Molly
Sometimes I feel like I make very slow progress in learning English. Then I find out so many people are just like me and they keep trying and learn harder with some better methods. So I do the same and have more hope but after that I feel frustrated and know that because I am not hard working enough and the circle repeats again. I know I never give up but today I am feeling low again.

Molly, there is a difference between working hard (which is good, don't get me wrong) and working smart. What I mean by that is that you won't always be efficient even if you put a lot of efforts in what you do. When it comes to learning a language, sometimes doing a little bit of language training using appropriate material for 10-20 minutes each day is better than spending hours exhausting yourself on something that won't bring you much. The take home message here is that you should work on something you find engaging and that doesn't exhaust you or overload your memory. Take care Molly.
