For checking Tik tok, a Chinese short-video app, is the overseas version of Douyin, gaining a large popularity of the people in Asia, America and other parts of the world. Users are able to make a 15-second video, picking background mucis from various kind of music and changing the speed, and they can share with their friends or on other platform. They can also record a lip-sync video without downloading other music apps, such as Musical.ly.   In the year of 2016, Douyin started business in China and gained attention from millions of users after a year, with over 1 billion times played everyday. A year later, Tik tok was introduced to overseas market and was accessible to overseas users. In 2018, App stores in Thailand and other countries showed that TikTok was the most popular free mobile app.   From my prespective, Douyin is an excellent social media app for us to relieve the stress especailly in the high-pressure society. Happiness comes whenever you pull out your phone and display one of the short videos, and that is the reason why Douyin can obtain such achievement in a short period of time.   As we can see, Douyin has already played am important role in people’s daily life, which not only enrich people’s lives but also leads to spiritual civilization construction.
