I personally use "cải thiện". In general the others are all correct.

help --- cứu giúp, OR cứu (in cases you're saving something drastic level, saving lives or saving the economy) OR giúp (just casually helping out) live --- trực tiếp (I assume live TV in this context) invite --- mời gọi (might be missue); mời is sufficient enough wish -- ước muốn (noun), ước (wishing upon something), muốn is more like, to want, to desire.
