Which English should we learn, American English or British English?

In the process of learning English, I find many words have two pronunciations sounds: American pronunciation and British pronunciation. As foreigners, which English should we learn, American English or British English? Can you tell me?

(Your last sentence needs to have agreement in singular/plural between your noun and your pronoun.  Either use   "As a foreigner ... should I learn ..."  or "As foreigners... should we learn ..."  )

It depends on who you want to speak with and why. In my opinion, American pronunciation is better for business and is more commonly learned by foreign speakers. However, a British accent might be good to communicate with people in Hong-Kong or Singapore. Europeans might prefer to hear a British accent over an American accent. Also, Americans think the British accent sounds classy and posh.
