Typical russian city Novosibirsk
What is a typical russian city Novosibirsk?
Firstly, winter. Eternal winter and frost.
Secondly, thirty or forty wooden houses in which six to eight dozen residents live.
Thirdly, lone, snow covered, tram without glasses goes on single street in the whole town. Two meters tall, bearded men, dressed in fur boots, coats, with skis and a shotguns, are sitting in the tram. Shotgun is an indispensable accessory of every inhabitant of Siberia.
Sidewalks in the town is not asphalted but wooden.
There is impassable forest (taiga) around the town. In the most severe winters, when it's cold -60, or even -70ºC (minus 76-94F), bears and wolves come from the taiga to the town to bask in the entrances and to walk the plank sidewalks. Guys, who ride the tram, charge the guns and shoot at the beasts. No one takes their skins and meat, and the town is always full of corpses of dead animals, and there is a smokescreen of gunpowder in the sky.
Guys drink alcohol and curse in the streetcar.
Women do not live in Siberia.
I've translate it from band "СПИД".

Yes, all Russian cities were exactly like this some 100 years ago. And women nowhere to be found.

Nothing. All as described!
Sometimes I'm surprised I've survived 8 years there...

I was born in Novosibirsk and have lived for 4 years there. So women live there. Can't believe in your description! Does this city have something positive?
