Here's an introduction. This is my first attempt to write anything in Tibetan. Please tell me if I am doing this correctly. I'm trying to say. "I am Marie."

Hello,

 

This is not correct. You should use the pronoun nga in wylie or tibetan ང་མ་རི་ཡིན་ If you want to say, My name is Mary you should write nga'i ming ma ri yin; tibetan ངའི་མིང་མ་རི་ཡིན་ being 'i the possesive or genitive particle, meaning "my"; ming= name;

ང་མ་རི་ཡིན། {ང་ has ng sound going  ཉ་ and ny sound }

 

ཉ་ means fish,
