Reverse Translation !

I appreciate writing and wish I had more time for it. We could all learn a lot from writing. One of the techniques of learning a language is called reverse translation, which is reading the original text piece your learning, then try to translate it into your own language, then again translate it back without looking into the original text. After that, compare them. Trust me, this is a powerful way of learning languages.

Your advice is excellent and works in most cases. However, as we climb higher on the rungs of language learning, things start to get murkier.  Translation becomes a world unto itself.
