menko is a traditional Japanese card game. You lay out your cards on the ground and you take turns to slam one card on them. You get any cards flipped over by your slamming.
Various kinds of figures, such as heros of manga or portraits of popular actors and athletes are drawn on the face of the cards to attract children’s. so you need to try very very hard and carefully to win your favourite cards and to protect them.
Sometimes points are written on the back of the cards, so if you do the math, you can play them both ways.

Hi, River. I heard sudoku is more popular overseas than in japan. I haven’t tried it, and I admire people who can enjoy numbers.
