(I understand that verb ends with 이 transformed into 여 like 그리다 into 그려요. I also understand the ㅆ is for past tense. But why there’s 였 in this sentence while 확인하이다 doesn’t mean anything when I search it at dictionary? Why don’t they just write it like: “사실 이미 확인 핬습니다.”?) Please help me to understand these sentences. I found the Korean sentence and the English translation from various sites like Naver or when I saw them on movie / show. Then, I try to understand each word using the dictionary. This exercise is only for understanding purposes only. Please correct me if I did any mistake in translating or at parts when I put the symbol (?). Thank you very much and have a nice day.
