oral English
Today ,I join in an English speaking club. Even though I am able to know what's the meaning of the sentences,I can't speak out. My sound was so low that no one could hear me. It drives me upset, but I won't give up.

Oral English
Today, I joined (in) an English speaking club. Even though I am able to (know what's) understand the meaning of the sentences, I can't speak out. (Another way to say this sentence would be 'Even though I know the meaning of the sentences, I can't speak out.') My (sound) voice was so low that no one could hear me. It upsets me a little bit, but I won't give up.
Excellent work! I understood the meaning of your sentences very well and there were only a few mistakes. Don't worry, it takes time to become confident in speaking another language, stick with it and you will be fluent in no time!

I encountered this situation when I was a freshman, as a Chinese student who was majoring in English, i tried a lot of ways to improve my oral English, for me I think confidence is the priority. You have to trust yourself when you are ready to chat with someone in English. Practice is also very important, we used to hear about that saying" practice makes perfect", keep it up and you will make it. And you need to read it fluently before you speak it, so reading is vital if you want to speak English well. Let's read it out, speak it out, come on!
