Ielts essay! International tourism is now more common than ever before. Some feel that this is a positive trend, while others do not. What are your opinions on this? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words. The past 50 years have seen a considerable increase in global tourism. Tourist economic opens a new door, new life to everyone who making holiday in the worl. Yet, there remains some disagrrement as to whether the overall effect of this travel has been positive or negative. While there are certainly valid arguments to the contrary, i personally believe that the benefits of global tourism far overweight its drawbacks. There benefits are twofold. First of all, it is an undeniable that tourism is play important to create a opportunity job in global economic. The Statistic of Worl Trade Organization showed that labor in tourism filed accounted for 7 percentage in totall labor in the worl in 1995.Moreover, international tourism does have the potential to foster greater understanding and tolerance between people of different cultures. Admittedly, in many such nations, the influx of mainly western tourists has brought with it problems sush as prostitution as well as alcoholism and drug abuse . However, overall tourism is a vast collective resource for the trade of host’s economic. Further and even more importantly, though, tourism industry is a factor to intributor to increase Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to economics. Cited from UNWTO (Worl Tourism Organation) also release tourist’s revenue account for 10,7% worl’s GDP. In some countries, income of tourism achieve between 20 and 40 percentage of their GDP. One particularly good example of this is revenue from tourism trade is approximately 4 millions USD as by 3,9% GDP in 2010 in Viet Nam. By my of conclusion, i once again reaffirm my position that international tourism will develop sharply in the foreseeable and it had a positive impact of host economy.

Yet, there remains some disagreement as to whether the overall effect has been positive or negative. While there are certainly valid arguments to the contrary, I personally believe that the benefits of global tourism far overweigh the drawbacks. The benefits are twofold.

Moreover, international tourism has the potential to foster greater understanding and tolerance between people of different cultures. Overall however, tourism is a vast collective resource for trade in the host country’s economy.
