In this essay, I will be explores the reasons for this and explain living in cities do has a little beneficial to people’s health. With the urbanization and industrialization, various pollution caused by air and water waster have become increasingly severe in modern societies, especially in developing countries like China. These are considered to be a major threaten to people fitness. According a statics from the China Social Academic, in big cities people’s life expectancy has shorten by five years due to heavy pollution. What is more, life in big cities usually very stressful and harsh. It is said that over half of white-collar workers have ever experienced sleepless at night, which can lead to unexpected health problems. Also, the fast pace of life is not good for people’s health. On the other hand, living in big cities does have some advantages. For example, people can get excellent medical service in case of illness. In developing areas, first-class medical facilities and stuff tend to concentrate in downtown areas. Actually, a large percentage of diseases have become incurable just because of lack of medical care. Furthermore, it is more likely for people to get access of health advertisement in cities. The population in rural areas sometimes has very little knowledge on health, which is contrast clearly to their cities counterparts. As I see it, in cities, there is millions of problems which may have better influence on people’s health. However, people in these areas have more access to good medical treatment, which of course are beneficial for their health.
