IELTS writing test Title :Nowadays many young people have negative attitude towards learning after they left school. What is the cause and what are the steps that can be taken to bring positive attitude towards learning again? I’ve been a student myself for almost 11 years since I was at a tender age of 6 until 17 years old. To be frank, the word “school” is never appealing to me. When the graduation was just around the corner, I heard most of my friends have truckloads of plans after graduating. Most of them are planning to find a part-time job while waiting for the results to be announced while some even burn the midnight oil to make a research on the college of their dreams. I firmly believe that after young people started working and earned their own money after a harsh and busy day at work, they came to realise that working is a lot of fun and being busy as they are, they tend to forget about the significance of studying and even their future. Being too focused on getting high salary, they think that that certain amount of salary is more than enough to buy anything in the world! I found out that youngsters tend to take relationship to the next step after leaving school. They get married at a young age without thinking that they do not have stable income to improve the family’s well-being and necessities every month. Besides that, most of the youngsters nowadays tend to break down and give up once they lose a battle. Instead of persevering and move on, they look for another option which is not studying. Youngsters should instil in their hearts and minds that every clouds have a silver lining. Apart from that, I suggest that youngsters should constantly refer to the nearest counsellor at their place to express how they feel and so that they could get rid of the “burden” and get rid of the problems for awhile. Youngsters just need someone to confess how they feel especially in a such critical times of their lives. They also need to mix with friends that influence them in a good way instead of the other. The problem arising nowadays that youngsters mixed with the wrong group of people and ended up being off the right path. If they sit down with the right group of people, their mindset as well as their attitude will change in a blink of an eye. p/s : This is my first time writing in an IELTS format. I really hope someone could correct this and probably give me scores according to IELTS standard. Thank you!
