The Most Suitable Husband

I saw an entertainment show on Sunday, where in which the host asked the guest (a company/film? director who has a beautiful baby daughter girl) what his demands were would/will be for his daughter’s future husband. He wrote down “ She Loves, then I consent” <em>(what was written, in Chinese?)</em>, then he felt something wrong about his answer and added several words “She Loves and I must consent” <em>(what were the Chinese characters?)</em>. All the audiences laughed out loud about this change. I think all fathers have/every father has high hopes for his ( if 'every father has' then 'his', but 'fathers' needs 'their') their son-in-law, and it will break a father’s heart if he thinks his daughter is being with choosing an asshole.
