Beyond the literal sense that i know, I would ask, are these two forms grammatically correct to express the same meaning?

Beyond the literal sense which I know of / about (that i know), I would ask, are these two forms grammatically correct to express the same meaning?
Both forms can be use, the first being the more common. If saying 'I think it's not a good idea' we would usually emphasise 'not' when speaking.

Sono entrambe corrette ma la seconda opzione non viene usata. Ed è per questo che suona un po' strana. Usa sempre la prima opzione.
