Being Cautious about Seeking a Job Last night, I sent my resume to an import and export company in Shanghai, applying for an export trader. This morning, I received a phone call from that company and was asked some simple questions. I was asked what kind of English certificate I had got, when I could leave school for work, etc. I told the lady who called me that I wasn't in Shanghai, and I might leave school for work in December. After hearing the English certificates that I had got, the lady said to me that my English was not bad. She also said that she would go to the Canton Fair in a few days and needed a green hand to come with her, so that she could cultivate this guy. She even asked me whether I would fly to Guangzhou if she bought me a ticket. I was very surprised then and hesitated for a few seconds. Then she asked me to give her a reply tomorrow evening, whether I agree to fly to Guangzhou or not. As for this matter, I just want to say that I really feel surprised. I'm afriad of being cheated, so I won't take the risk of flying to Guangzhou to meet a stranger. Tomorrow evening, I'll call that lady and tell her my decision.
