Between reality and fantasy There are many tales about the Po river and his slow travel before flowing in the Adriatic sea and shaping the great Po Delta, from the Phaethon myth: ( the tragic race across the sky vault by the unlucky Phaethon, Helio's son, Zeus stroke the chariot with a lightning bolt and the imprudent charioteer plunged into the river), to the fisherman and ferry man old stories. Certainly, one of the most fascinating is the Luigi Salvini’s story, a Slavic language universitary professor born in 1911, after the war, he established in a small island in the middle of the river Po near Papozze, an independent republic with boundary, passport and where money was printed but the value was only in a dreams. This experience was shared with other professors and friends that in this free island-state they were use to spend their summer holidays in the nature, without rules except those of respect and mutual solidarity. In the Po delta, Luigi Salvini met his passions: his wife, miss Matelda daughter of the famous lyricist Luigi Catozzo and this pristine landscape, a beauty that would let known to others, especially to the many friends across Europe. We are in 1946 the war has just ended and has left destruction, missing and dead, but the liberation bring new energy , It comes out of a long hibernation to "think" in freedom, and Luigi Salvini with this purpose, built the Tamisiana Bosgattia republic , where man and nature are one, So until 1955 this short wild island became a sort of enclave . Life in the island usually began in July and finished in September . Living in the Tamisiana Bosgattia republic didn’t mean get belly to the sun, but to live had to make do with what you found in the wildlife, indeed very generous, especially hunting and fishing. There are many tales about the Po river and his its slow travel journey eastwards before (the sentence meanders like the Po - but the subject is tales! and the subject gets lost!) (down to the great Po Delta where it finally flows flowing into the Adriatic sea) and shaping the great Po Delta . Certainly, one of the most fascinating is the Luigi Salvini’s story, a Slavic language universitary professor born in 1911, after the war, he established in a small island in the middle of the river Po near Papozze, an independent republic with a boundary, it's own passport and where money was printed but the value was only in a dreams. This experience was shared with other professors and friends that and? in this free island-state they were used to spending their summer holidays in the amongst nature, without rules except those of respect and mutual solidarity.
In the Po delta, Luigi Salvini met his passions: his wife, miss Matelda, daughter of the famous lyricist Luigi Catozzo and this pristine landscape, a beauty that he would (impart) let known to others, especially to the his many friends across Europe. Life in on the island usually began in July and finished in September . Living in the Tamisiana Bosgattia republic didn’t mean (lolling about, sunbathing) get belly to the sun, but to live one had to make do with what one found in the wildlife, indeed very generous abundant, especially for hunting and fishing. The day begins at dawn every morning, as the sun starts coming out from above the tops of the poplars, the islanders set up the works established the night before (the islanders continue with work began the night before). Between reality and fantasy

There are many tales about the Po river and its slow travel before flowing into the Adriatic sea where it shapes the great Po Delta to the fisherman and ferry man, just old stories. One ancient story of the Po river features a tragic mythological race across the sky by the unlucky Phaethon. In the story, Helio's son, Zeus, struck the chariot with a lightning bolt and the imprudent charioteer plunged into the river.

Certainly, one of the most fascinating stories about the river is the Luigi Salvini’s story. Luigi was a Slavic language universitary professor born in 1911. After the war [which war, World War II?], he established an independent republic on a small island in the middle of the Po river near Papozze. His republic had boundaries, passports and printed money whose value was only in a dreams. He shared information about his republic with other professors and friends who in this free island-state they were able to spend their summer holidays in nature, without rules except those of respect and mutual solidarity.

In the Po delta, Luigi Salvini met his passions: his wife, miss Matelda, daughter of the famous lyricist Luigi Catozzo, and the pristine landscape of the river - a beauty that would become known to others such as his many friends across Europe. During 1946 the World War II had just ended and had left destruction, missing and dead. But liberation from war brought new energy. It [What is the "it" you are referring to? It just is not clear.] comes out of a long hibernation to "think" in freedom, and

Luigi Salvini with his determination built the Tamisiana Bosgattia republic, where man and nature are one. Till 1955 this small wild island became a sort of enclave. Visitors spent tiem on the island from July to September. Living in the Tamisiana Bosgattia republic didn’t mean ;laying around geting a sun tan. Rather, the residents had to make feed themselves on the wildlife found on the island. The day begin at dawn every morning, as the sun came out over the tops of the poplars. The islanders set up the tasks to be accomplioshed each night. tasks could include preparing the boat, reordering hooks and lines, examining the engine or such depending on whether the islander wanted to go fishing, explore the river, or get to the Adriatic sea.
In the Island there were no buildings, you lived in tents with gas fueled electric lights. No reading, no radio, no news from outside this small word. The happy site is a must see for tourists who come in dense swarms from near and far to visiting this community and admiring the happy life of its inhabitants.
