Will the use of computers in education make teachers redundant? (Opinion essay) Some people think that computers are an advance and now it’s not necessary the traditional medium of learning, while others consider that a computer can’t replace teachers. I consider that computers are a good complement in education, but they won’t make teachers redundant. I will try to explain this point. You will never see a school without teachers, that's obvious. I think we can’t learn anything without someone who teaches us. By the way, I consider that it’s necessary the help of computers, as we can find information and everything we need. Some people think that computers are the natural medium of learning for young people today. As I see, young people don’t learn to write or read with computers. They need teachers to do it. To conclude, in my opinion we need both computers and teachers in the education area. We are in the Information Age and we have to modernize the medium of learning.
