Whether studying history is a waste of time With the education diversity nowadays,some people consider learning history is less value than others subjects such as English,Mathematic and Technology.In this eassy,I will examine both sides and extent my own opinion. Obviously,history is a subject that rarely used in people's live because there are less useful information and acknowledges relevant in modern society. In other words,a undergraduate will not get a better job with a historical diploma.Moreover,focusing on history increase the already heavy study load for students,which may make them suffer unnecessary pressure and hindrance their major subjects. On the other hand,there are,however,numerous benefits for students who are picking up history.Firstly,by learning history people can also discover the mistakes that human-beings had made up in the past,such as to flunked a failed evolution or started a unsuccessful business.Secondly,valuable information can be found in history such as traditional medicines.learning the former medicine technique can develop a new treatment for mankinds.Last but no least,law legislators have established some successful laws base on history to against crime or inappropriate behaviour.To illustrate this point further,Guangzhou,a city of China,has prohibited smoke indoors,since devastating fire destroyed a hotel and took 47 people's life. My conclusion is,therefore,the advantages in learning history outweigh its demerits.People should not avocate study history is waste of time but encourage next generations to discover its potential power.
