Global water use by sector The graph and the table, respectively, show the data about water use worldwide and water consumption in two different countries-- Brazil, and democractic republic of Congo. As can be seen from the graph, global water keeps rising along with time passing. Water used by agriculture remains the most since 1900, and now, in 2000, it has reached 3000 cubic kilometers. Next, follows the industrial use, which is now being used about 1200 cubic kilometers. In addition, around 500 cubic kilometers water has been used as domestic demand. All of these three kinds of water use began to go up rapidly since 1940. Therefore, the table draws a clear comparison of water consumption between Brazil and Congo in year 2000. There are 176 million citizen, with 26500 square kilometers irrigated land in Brazil, while Congo holds 5.2 million population, and 100 square kilometers irrigated land, however, the water consumption per person in Brazil is nearly 40 times larger, they are 359 cubic meters and 8 cubic meters. Sincerely thanks for helping me!
