Help me with homework and if you can, give me an explanation.
Hello everybody, I'm doing my English homework.
The subject is the future (predictions)
I need to solve a question.
There are several sentences, and one of them has no errors.
After thinking, it remains these two:
a) The Japanese car industry isn't likely to be successful in the US market.
b) Television won't very matter in your lifetime or mine.
I see both of them correct. :(
But at least one of them is incorrect, and if they are both incorrect, so I've made a mistake in the other ones.
By the way, the others sentences are: (corrected by me)
1) Man won't fly for fifty years.
2) There isn't going to be any German reunification this century.
3) Democracy will be dead by 1950.
4) By 1980 all power (electric, atomic, solar) is likely to be almost free.
5) Man will never reach the Moon.
6) The internet may become useful for business but never for the general public.
Is it everything ok?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks A.D.
You are right, sentence B is wrong.
"Very" is not correct in this case, so it would be:
Television won't matter in your lifetime or mine.

Are you writing the sentences correctly? Some of them don't make sense; it looks like they're missing words.
By the way, B is definitely wrong; I'm not sure if they wrote like that on purpose or if you made a mistake when typing it.
