this =这 these=这些 that=那 those=那些 For example This is an apple. 这是一个苹果 That is an apple 那是个苹果 These are apples 这些是苹果 Those are apples 那些是苹果 But when you use 'that' in subordinate clause just like He expressed the hope that we would keep in touch with his firm. 他表示希望我们与他的公司保持联系。 you shouldn't translate "that" into "那' instead you needn't translate it Sorry,I don't know how to say……Let me think……
