Sex education. It is a well-known fact that, currently, the sexual education is being established as a right increasingly. Certainly, it is a topical issue of interest for all. That is why I see the sex education as a generating source of change in the society. This shows its significance, and the necessary participation of parents and teachers. One of the most striking features in sexual education is its importance in the individual's development. It is a process that begins from birth, which should represent a positive experience. One such example is the way kids understand the relevance of taking care of themselves. Incidentally, we must not forget the role of parents and teachers in children's sexual development. Firstly, parents have the duty to explain principles like self-esteem. Secondly, as teachers, we should strengthen the principles infused at home such as respect for classmates. Another point to consider is that sex education at an early age can awaken curiosity about the unknown. So children could experience a negative sexuality, which hinders values. In conclusion, sex education remains a debatable issue for many, something uncomfortable for others. But as future teachers is essential to understand why is there the necessity of a good sexual instruction that generates changes in students' lives. How to take care of me without understanding what my rights are?
