I need a correction for my essay please Task 2 of IELTS academic module Question : Universities should accept equal numbers of male and female students in every subject. To what extent do you agree or disagree ? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples . My response is : Equity between both genders is a crucial matter in several aspects of life . In particularly, education is considered one of the major aspect that requires applying justice and equity between students. However, it is considerably refuted to accept the idea of forcing universities to allow admission of equal numbers of male and female students in each major subject . Through this essay , it will be discussed the reasons behind this disagreement. First of all, there are a lot of astonishing diferences of intellectual abilities between boys and girls regarding certain subjects . For instance , talking about maths and majoring engineering , males are attaining the higher scores and remarkable achievements than female students who prefer literature and sociopsychological studies such as anthropology and psychology . Thus , this policy may hinder girls to study the subject which can make greater progress and success as well as having unsuccessful male students due to lack of interest . Secondly , the ignorance of each student's preferences and closing the door in front of their wishes may affect their desire to continue the academic studying . They might prioritize to work after high school rather than enrolling in unfavorable subject. Consequently , the educational system itself would be in charge of the fall of numbers of learners of some subjects. In conclusion , it wouldn't be encouraged for higher educational institutes and universities to adopt the policy of fair distribution of students regarding their gender in every speciality. It is rather recommended to perform fair evaluation and assessment of their special abilities before being enrolled in favour of having better students and future leaders of the society . I would be thankful for any comments as I feel so anxious about my first trial in IELTS next Saturday .
