hi guys, I wrote an essay about the advantages and disadvantages of going to the cinema,who help me? There are two kind of people, who watch movies at the cinema and who think it’s better watching films at home. With internet, the cinemas are becoming empty and people prefer watching films at home buying it or, what’s worse, by illegally download it on Internet. This is because many of them can’t afford the cinema tickets. There are two main advantages of watching movies at the cinema, the first is that you can watch the movie the first days it is released without waiting to much. The second advantage is the quality, at the cinema the quality of the sound and video is high, However, nowadays all people have a good HD-screen television in their house and the quality of it is high too. The big difference is that the cinema’s screen is bigger than all televisions’ screens. On the other hand, the cinema is expensive and crowded, this mean that a lot of people prefer staying at home instead of going to the cinema. In my opinion, If you have a high-quality television, is better watching films at home, because it is more comfortable and relaxing, not only cheaper.

This is because many of them can’t afford the cinema tickets.

The second advantage is the quality: at the cinema the quality of the sound and video is good high. However, nowadays all people have/ everyone has a good HD-screen television in their house and the quality of it is high too.

In my opinion, If you have a high-quality television, it is better to watch watching films at home, because it is more comfortable and relaxing, not only as well as cheaper.

Good effort! Make sure to paragraph neatly. The best essays are organised into neat paragraphs which express a distinct point in each one. Normally this would be something along the lines of 'advantages' and 'disadvantages', in an Ielts essay, for instance.

Some considerations

1. Quando introduci una lista di cose, è meglio usare i due punti (semicolon). Ad esempio: 'There are three things to take into account: x....; y....; and z.'

2. 'Who', a differenza di 'chi' non può essere un soggetto. Per cui devi dire 'Those who'

3. Gli aggettivi in inglese reggono un infinito, compresi i comparativi (better, nicer, uglier, more comfortable). Per cui bisogna scrivere 'better to go' ecc.

4. Alcuni verbi in inglese reggono un infinito del verbo che segue; altri reggono un gerundio. Tutti i verbi seguenti devono rispettare il verbo reggente, per cui dovresti scrivere 'I enjoy dancing and running'. Sarebbe sbagliato scrivere 'dancing and to walk'.

5. Infine, fai attenzione alla concordanza dei pronomi. 'It' è singolare, mentre 'they' si riferisce a un plurale. Visto che stavi parlando di films sopra, devi scrivere 'them', e non 'it'.
