The Book Thief A few years ago, I read a book called The Book Thief. I bought this book because the cover caught my attention. The cover was all white, like the snow, with a black figure of a person wearing a big coat and holding a red umbrella. I don't know why, but I found it intriguing. I judged the book by its cover and it was a good decision. I started to read the book, but I didn't like it, so I quit. Years later, I decided to give the book a second chance, because I was feeling a different person. And I loved it! The Book Thief is a historical novel that is narrated by Death itself. Death tells the story of a young girl living in Nazi Germany with her foster family. The story is incredible and extremely sad, but now is one of my favorites books ever. That's why I like giving things and opinions a second chance because people are always changing, so we can't say anything definitive because we never know who we are going to be tomorrow.
