I joined took part in Japanese event of Mochitsuki. It is a Japanese event. Mochitsuki is the pounding of steamed rice to make rice into a cake form. "Mochi" means rice cake and "tsuku" means "to pound" since you are using the verb root form. pounding. Then we ate rice cake, of course it is for consumption. State the purpose if it is not.
