I want to speak English well.

At the moment, I can't speak English well. 

I think I lack fluency in English because I don't know much English vocabulary.

(easier, "My English is not good because I don't know many words")

I must work hard to build up my vocabulary but it is very difficult.

(easier: "I must work hard to learn more words.  This is difficult")
