Is there any difference between "excessive" and "redundant"?
Thanks in advance.

Yes!! It is a little hard to see, but when it comes to redundant, it's more about something that's not needed, like when someone says "I'm going up to upstairs", do you see how it's not necessary to say you are going up? So it is redundant. And excessive is only about when you exceed the bounds of something. Redundant can mean that too, but more in the way of "not being necessary". Hope you got it!!

Excessive = too much
Reduntant = unneeded and unnecessary, usually something being repeated.
