Do American English speakers also say “That’s rich” to mean “That’s hypocritical of you”? If not, what would you say in these examples below? Maybe “that’s funny”?

“You’re insulted? That’s rich, after what you said to me!”
“You think I'm flaky? That's rich, considering you didn't show up either.”
“Me? Lazy? That’s rich, coming from you!”

It's certainly well understood to mean "hypocritical". I think it sounds a little old-fashioned at this point, but I can't think of a more current synonymous expression. I just can't remember anyone saying, "that's rich" recently.

Maybe "That's a bit much" might be more current.
