Could you please help correct my grammar mistakes? I am not sure about the tenses I used in this paragraph.
"This month I read a lot of short stories and one of them are "Soar like an eagle", "Black or white", "Cockroach theory", "Determining your true path". Now I am reading "The alphabet of happiness". I have to say that these little stories are interesting and meaningful.

I promised to myself that I wouldn't watch Korean and Japanese dramas but in the end I gave in. I watched "Alice in borderland" which is kind of like "Squid Games", and "The tale of the nine tailed".
