The pie chart illustrates the ratio/proportion/percentage of the reason why students use mobile phone in a certain university.Specifically, the ration of doing academy accounts for 59.5%,which is the highest percentage among the others. The proportion of killing time and scanning information accounts for 20.5% and 17% ,respectively.
There are two fundamental factors involved in this phenomenon.First, undergraduates are facing fierce competition in modern society.Only if they do their utmost to study to get good points and learn/grab necessary skills, they can have a decent job after graduating. Thus, most students would rather use mobile phone to do academy and scan information than kill time.Second,Mobile phones has became the main trend to relax and get information nowadays. When students get tired from studying ,they prefer to leisure themselves by using it.
From my perspective,Mobil phones has already played an essential role in university life. However,It seems like a double-edge score .Students should remind themselves do not be addicted to it,especially, far away from computer games and social medium.

The pie chart illustrates the proportions/percentages of reasons why
students use mobile phones at a certain university. Specifically, the percentage for
doing academic study accounts for 59.5%, which is the highest percentage among the
options. The proportion for killing time and scanning information accounts for
20.5% and 17%, respectively while “other” is a mere 2%. There are two fundamental factors involved in this
phenomenon. First, undergraduates are facing fierce competition in modern
society. Only if they do their utmost to study to get good points and learn/grab
necessary skills, can they obtain a decent job after graduating. Thus, most students
would rather use their mobile phones to do academic work and scan information than kill
time. (Scanning information is less than killing time) Second, mobile phones have become the main way to relax and get information
nowadays. When students get tired from studying, they like to use them for leisure. From my perspective, mobile phones have already played an
essential role in university life. However,It seems like a double-edge sword. Students should remind themselves do not be addicted to their phones, especially, by staying far away
from computer games and social media.
Good ideas. Note the difference between academy and academic.
