Hello, on another app I asked this: “What is academic writing? Why so many types of writing? How many are they? Please help! it is taking me so long to find the answer for this type of questions.” And Luckily someone replied this: “ Academic writing is a style of writing. There is a certain format and tone to it. It’s primarily used for research/university. Another style I can think of is creative writing, but I’m sure there’s more” Can someone PLEASE continue helping (going deeper)? It’s has been so frustrating, I need to understand all regarding to what I have asked.

The only two writings you should worry about are academic writing and everyday writing Academic writing is when you type without slang and with proper grammar, and punctuation. Academic writing is used at schools( English ,literature, or ela class), or when you are writing something to someone important, or to someone like your teacher/boss/ people like that. Everyday writing(not its official name, but if you think of it this way it is easier to understand) is when you write carefree. You can mess up your spelling, grammar and neglect punctuations. People use this on social media and with their family, and friends. I use this type of writing with anyone that I am close to and this includes my teachers. Sometimes I write papers (for classes that aren’t English or Ela) with this just without slang and I still make good grades. Creative writing is not important so don’t stress it. Colleges usually have majors called creative writing but all that means is that your going to be learning how to write about a lot of different things, so you should have a sense of creativity. So don’t stress too much because writings styles aren’t that important and overtime you will get the hang of it.
