What's the difference between "provided by" and "provided from"?
To be concrete, I wonder which proposition should I use in this sentence: "In your bin/Regions.ini file (or other region config file) you will also need to set the grid co-ordinates to your regions provided [from?by?] the grid operator." thx

Provided by- supplied/catered or arranged
Example: Food for the wedding was provided by specialist caterers
Provided from = sourced from.
Example:
The money used to entertain the clients was provided from her expense account.
