"going on with their daily lives"
What does it mean in the context of:
"When we went out I heard all these people walking, talking, going on with their daily lives as i was walking... "
going on with their daily lives = continuing with their daily lives
I.e. they weren't doing anything in particular other than what they usually do. (just like a normal Russian)
