As you are a student, I'm assuming you mean going on exchange to another country. My daughter went to Saporro in Japan for 1 month as an exchange student because her school has a sister school there. We had to pay for her plane tickets and pocket money. She stayed with a Japanese family whose children went to the high school and my daughter went with them. She found it hard to cope in all the lessons in Japanese all day. She was able to assist in the English classes. She enjoyed her time there and went on many excursions. She still keeps in contact with her Japanese family. If you want to go, I suggest that you contact your local Rotary organisation.

If you are grateful for something that someone has given you or done for you, you are pleased and wish to thank them.

Search for language partners on : http://www.italki.com/partners/1-Portuguese-English--200-0--0-1.htm Those are native English speakers learning Portuguese , contact the ones you like through email or friend requests for potential language exchange.
