What is the difference between saying someone is 傻瓜 or saying they are a 笨蛋？

基本没区别。一般都用于骂人！
如果是关系很亲密的人，常会昵称对方为“小笨蛋”“大傻瓜”，这是友好、疼爱的叫法。
当然这也不是绝对的。是骂人还是昵称，主要是看：在什么时候、为什么事情、用什么语气来说的。
傻——EQ不高
笨——IQ不高

傻瓜：一般指不够聪明，经常做些傻事的人。
笨蛋：一般指做事情不够灵活，学东西比较慢，比较苯的人。

傻瓜is for kidding. 笨蛋is for both kidding and cussing..
