What's the meaning of "give it a miss"??

"to give something a miss" means not doing something because you don't feel like doing it or it's not worthy to do it, e.g. I've said I was going to go to the party, but I think I'll give it a miss.

Maryam's answer is correct. But I would add that it's a somewhat unusual way of speaking. Better ways of expressing would be "give it a pass" or, even better, "pass on it." For example, "we had time to go to the art museum, but we gave it a pass"; or, "we were invited to her party, but we decided to pass on it."
