Which version is correct "I'm Pole" or "I'm Polish"?

I actually don't know how people from Poland regard their own nationality. But, as far as my knowledge and experience is concerned, "Polish" would be their nationality.

it's just to say:i'm polish(adjective).if you want to refer to your nationality.
or you say i'm a pole(noun) if you want to refer to your race.

"I'm Polish" is correct. "I'm a Pole" is also correct.
"I'm Pole" is incorrect, because "Pole" is a noun, not an adjective.
