True what Maxey says, loathe basically means hate, Good God I got a free lunch on Friday in the VIP room but they served fish with the head on. I loathe eating fish with the head on.

It gives me a tremendously good feeling to hate (loathe) something. You don't hear it often, because when people hate something, there is just that emotion that is involved. It doesn't give people particular pleasure to hate something (usually).
