undeniably, most of the languages are hard to learn. I would like to recommend you 'Bahasa Malaysia' (Malay) as the lingo can be easily pick up in a short period of time due to its scarcity of vocabulary. Moreover, it is a very phonetic language. The language also use the same alphabets as in English. One of the problematic aspects of the lingo is its myriad of prefixes and suffixes that formed virtually over 70 percents of the words. However, it still remain a easy language to learn-we can simply master it within 1 or most 2 year to a level where you can comfortably read the newspaper and academic materials. like to reiterate that most of the languages are hard to learn-especially those with ideograms and tonal system like mandarin if you're not a native speaker or never have a rudimentary knowledge of it.
