What's the difference between synopsis and summary?
why add another word if it will only have the same meaning or description to another word..
maybe there should be a difference, and that's what i want to find out

If I was asked to give a synopsis or summary of a book or film I would write a few hundred words detailing the writer/director/plot/actors/characters etc. Basically a review is a summary with a personal opinion flavouring to it. A synopsis/summary would not have an opinion unless the original text had one. Synopsis and summary are interchangeable.

synopis and summary means the same thing it means short version containing gist of a  book, play, movie, or a television show.
